Bitcoin’s Dip Below $80,000 Was Followed by Higher Binance Bids
Bitcoin was quoted at 79,864.4375 Tether (USDT) at 9:55 a.m. ET (13:55 UTC). The visible bid stack below $80,000 was thinner than during the first test.

Bitcoin’s dip below $80,000 on Binance on Thursday, Oct. 15, was followed by buy orders at higher levels, while visible bids left beneath $80,000 were thinner than during the first test.
At 9:55 a.m. ET (13:55 UTC), Binance quoted Bitcoin (BTC) at 79,864.4375 Tether (USDT). Roughly 20 minutes later, a sizable bid appeared below $80,000, and bid levels subsequently shifted upward.
Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET (15:00–18:00 UTC), BTC hit its daily high of $82,634. Another standing bid appeared near $82,000 later in the day.
After the first $80,000 cluster was filled, the visible bid depth below that level was smaller than during the initial test. An open buy order records the price its owner is prepared to pay at that moment. It can execute, shift or disappear, so a cluster marks interest in an area without guaranteeing a price floor.
