A dated technical reading placed two resistance levels for LayerZero (ZRO) at $2.1376 and $2.2705, making a move toward $2.30 conditional on clearing both. The reading was recorded at 1:46 p.m. ET Friday, Oct. 16 (17:46 UTC). It put nearest support at $1.9897 and the next support at $1.9076.

The relative strength index (RSI) was 57.9 on the daily chart and 49.1 on the four-hour chart. The reading also rated five of seven indicator groups bullish, one neutral and one bearish, and placed the 50-day moving average above the 200-day average. A break below $1.9897 would put the next listed support at $1.9076 in view.

These are chart reference points, not established price targets. The $2.30 level is a possible retest only if ZRO clears both resistance levels; the indicators do not establish that it will.

A scheduled Oct. 20 ZRO release is set for 1:33 a.m. ET (05:33 UTC). The release makes tokens available to recipients, but its date does not establish how many will be sold.

Through its September 2026 entry, LayerZero had repurchased 2,537,790 ZRO for a $3,680,825 cost basis. The September entry recorded 162,433 ZRO purchased for $351,543. Stargate revenue is active for buybacks, while the protocol fee switch is inactive. These are separate mechanisms, and the recorded purchases do not establish whether future buybacks will offset the scheduled release.
