Celestia’s native token, TIA, was up 13.77% over 24 hours in an Oct. 16 snapshot, while a separate chart setup left its resistance test dependent on the UTC daily candle’s close.

The USD reference price was $0.6784169 at 1:36 p.m. ET (17:36 UTC), within a 24-hour range of $0.5766192 to $0.7173648. That price snapshot and the chart setup’s resistance level were separate readings.

The Oct. 16 setup placed daily R1, a chart-derived resistance marker, at $0.6340. It treated a completed daily close above R1 as confirmation; an intraday move above the marker would not meet that test. The daily candle was still open at the time of the price snapshot and was due to close at 8 p.m. ET (00:00 UTC on Oct. 17).

The setup listed daily relative strength index (RSI) at 62.8 and hourly RSI at 80.7, with the hourly reading indicating overbought short-term momentum. The move followed an earlier 10.04% one-hour rise in TIA.

Rollup developers use TIA to pay to publish data to Celestia’s data-availability layer. The token can also be used for rollup gas and staking. Those network roles are separate from the chart indicators; the resistance test awaited the daily candle’s scheduled close.
