SITE Centers Shares Rise 18.3% in Friday Premarket Trading

SITE Centers shares rose 18.3% in premarket trading Friday. The move was recorded at 7:43 a.m. ET (11:43 UTC) on Oct. 16.

After ending Oct. 15 at $3.01, SITE Centers traded at $3.60 at 8 p.m. ET (0000 UTC Oct. 16), a 19.6% increase from the prior close. SITE Centers has outlined a planned Dec. 4 NYSE delisting and a $3-per-share special cash distribution.

The company expects the $3 payment to leave its stock price and market value near levels that could trigger an involuntary delisting. The voluntary delisting is expected to take effect before trading opens Dec. 4.
