Circle minted 250 million USDC on Solana on Friday, adding a new issuance of the stablecoin to the network. The transaction took place at 8:21 a.m. ET (12:21 UTC) on Oct. 16.

The batch matched a 250 million USDC mint on Solana on Oct. 9, which occurred at 8:50 a.m. ET (12:50 UTC). The two same-size issuances came seven days apart, with the latest recorded 29 minutes earlier in the day.

Other 250 million USDC batches were minted on Solana in March and September 2025 and in March, June, July and August 2026. These instances show the same batch size recurring across multiple months, but do not establish a regular schedule.

A mint increases the amount of USDC created on Solana. The issuance amount alone does not measure net inflows to the network.
