New Street Lists $400 Amazon Target as Binance Contract Tracks Shares
The Oct. 14 entry followed an Oct. 1 listing at $385. AMZNUSDT tracks Amazon stock but does not give traders share ownership.

New Street Research lists a $400 price target for Amazon shares, while Binance’s AMZNUSDT perpetual contract tracks the stock without giving traders ownership of it.
New Street Research analyst Dan Salmon has a Buy rating and a $400 target in the firm’s Oct. 14 Amazon entry. An Oct. 1 entry listed a $385 target, putting the two figures $15 apart. The target applies to Amazon common shares, not to Binance’s futures contract.
AMZNUSDT is calculated in USDT and trades 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The contract launched Feb. 9, 2026, at 9:40 a.m. ET (14:40 UTC), with maximum leverage of 10x. It is linked to Amazon common stock, but holding the contract does not confer ownership of the shares.
The contract’s pricing reference changes with the underlying stock market. During Amazon’s market hours, it uses live index pricing. After the stock market closes, the contract’s mark price is based on an exponentially weighted average of futures prices. The $400 share target is therefore an estimate for the underlying stock, not a stated price level for AMZNUSDT.
The newer New Street entry lists a $400 target.
Amazon’s third-quarter 2026 financial-results conference call is scheduled for Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. ET (21:00 UTC).
