Circle Joins Friday Stock Roundup With Plan to Enter About 40 Markets
USDC circulation reached $73.3 billion at June 30, 2026. The roundup also included developments at Netflix, Workday and Fox.

Circle Internet Group (CRCL) is pursuing entry into about 40 emerging and developing markets, Chairman and CEO Jeremy Allaire said Friday, putting the stablecoin issuer among four companies in a U.S. stock watchlist alongside Netflix, Workday and Fox Corporation (FOXA).
Allaire cited rising demand across Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. He did not identify the target markets or provide an entry timetable.
Circle had $73.3 billion of USD Coin (USDC) in circulation on June 30, 2026, up 19% from a year earlier. USDC on-chain transaction volume reached $14.8 trillion in the second quarter, a 151% increase year over year.
Netflix (NFLX) appointed Peter Rice chief content officer, effective Oct. 26. Rice will succeed Bela Bajaria. KeyBanc Capital Markets downgraded Workday (WDAY) to Sector Weight from Overweight on Friday, citing the time needed for its artificial intelligence products to generate meaningful revenue and possible competition for human resources technology budgets.
Bank of America upgraded Fox to Buy from Underperform and raised its price target to $85 per share from $54. Separately, Fox Class B shareholders approved the issuance of Class A shares for the proposed Roku acquisition on Oct. 14. The vote received 197,363,560 votes in favor, 71,891 against and 45,001 abstentions; 99.9% of votes cast supported the proposal.
The shareholder vote authorized the share issuance but did not complete the acquisition. Fox’s proposed deal values Roku at about $22 billion in enterprise value, or $160 per share in cash and Fox Class A stock. The deal remains subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
