Argentina’s Binance USDT Quote Shows a 6.6% Premium to Official Rate

Binance’s Argentina peer-to-peer (P2P) market had a median buy quote for Tether (USDT) of 1,612.6 pesos, about 6.6% above the central bank’s official dollar reference rate.

The premium widened from 5.66% on Oct. 11 to 6.6%, a roughly two-month high.

OKX’s P2P market had an average USDT quote of 1,614.15 pesos, about 6.7% above the reference rate. Binance’s figure is a median buy quote, while OKX’s is an average, so the two figures use different measures.
