Bitcoin (BTC)’s monthly cycle indicator places its capitulation boundary near $87,170, a level that would satisfy one condition in a bullish reading if crossed, while large-holder balances and U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF flows have improved.

The BTC Market Cycle Signals framework uses monthly Bollinger Bands to map accumulation, capitulation and distribution conditions. Its listed levels are $51,746, about $87,170 and $122,596, respectively. Crossing the middle level would not establish whether or when Bitcoin could reach a new record.

On Oct. 13, large holders held 3.03 million BTC after exchange and mining-pool addresses were excluded, the most since Nov. 21, 2025. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs had cumulative net flows of +2,300 BTC year to date, after those flows fell to −83,000 BTC in early July.

GugaOnChain wrote that the indicator showed “we are just warming up.” The boundary remains a technical marker: crossing it would meet one condition in the bullish case, not set a timetable for a new record.
