Cardano Trades Below $0.278 Breakout Level After Weekly Decline
ADA was down 3% over 24 hours but remained 13.5% higher over the past month.

Cardano’s ADA traded at $0.2238 on Oct. 17, down 11.5% over seven days and below the $0.278 weekly threshold analyst Giannis Andreou uses to confirm a cup-and-handle setup. The condition leaves the chart pattern unconfirmed.
ADA also lost 3% in the prior 24 hours but was still up 13.5% over the past month. The move from $0.2238 to $0.278 represents about 24.2%, the gap to the chart’s trigger.
Andreou’s weekly chart analysis places the pattern after ADA rebounded from the $0.14-$0.16 range in September and formed a rounded bottom. His setup requires a weekly close above $0.278 followed by a successful retest of that level. Losing the rising support line would weaken the formation, while a break below the base would undermine it.
The next test in the setup is a weekly close above $0.278 followed by a successful retest. The $0.278 trigger overlaps the $0.277–$0.28 zone, also central to Cardano’s rally and derivatives risk.
