Crypto Liquidations Reach $214 Million in 24 Hours, Mostly From Longs

Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations totaled $37.485 million, while Ether (ETH) liquidations reached $33.3992 million.

Crypto markets recorded $214 million in contract liquidations over a 24-hour period through Oct. 17, with long positions accounting for most of the reported total.

The breakdown listed $153 million in long liquidations and $61.3293 million in short liquidations. Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations totaled $37.485 million, while Ether (ETH) liquidations reached $33.3992 million.

The largest single liquidation was $5.0966 million on HYPERLIQUID-BTC-USD.
