Solana’s tokenized equity market reached $455 million after starting the yearlong comparison at $63 million, expanding a fast-growing part of the network’s real-world asset (RWA) activity. The ending value was a little more than seven times the starting figure, with xStocks among the drivers.

More than $65 million in tokenized equities on Solana was being used to earn yield. xStocks can also serve as collateral on lending platforms Kamino and Jupiter Lend, allowing holders to borrow against the tokens. Collateral is an asset pledged to back a loan.

Solana’s RWA offerings extend beyond equities to U.S. Treasury debt, asset-backed credit, commodities and curated strategies. OnRe’s ONyc provides exposure to Ondo-related reinsurance. Hastra offers PRIME and AUTO backed by home loans and consumer auto loans, while Maple Finance has expanded to Solana with syrupUSDC.

The broader RWA market on Solana rose from $700 million to $4.3 billion over the same year. Ethereum’s total increased from $15.5 billion to $16.6 billion, putting Solana’s value at 26% of Ethereum’s, compared with 4.5% a year earlier. The broader yearlong RWA expansion on Solana spans multiple asset classes, not just equities.
