PUMP Falls 19.7% in a Week as Pump.fun Fees Set 30-Day Record
Open interest fell nearly 10% in 24 hours, while spot-market buying and selling activity weakened over the week and funding rates turned negative.

As of 2 a.m. ET (0600 UTC) Oct. 18, PUMP had fallen 19.7% over seven days while Pump.fun generated $60 million in fees over 30 days, a record for the platform. The contrast puts rising platform fees alongside a falling token price and weakening short-term market signals.
Open interest fell nearly 10% in 24 hours as PUMP declined. Spot cumulative volume delta (CVD), a measure of net buying and selling in spot markets, also dropped over the week. Funding rates were negative, pointing to bearish sentiment in perpetual markets. Together, the indicators suggested selling pressure in both spot trading and perpetual futures.
The daily chart’s price structure remained bullish, but shorter-term indicators had weakened. Chaikin Money Flow had returned to neutral after showing inflows as PUMP approached a local high of $0.0068. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator was nearing a bearish crossover around the zero line.
A 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level stood at $0.00413. A one-month liquidation heatmap showed a concentration of potential long liquidations near $0.0042, just above that level.
