Ether Tests $2,360 Support as Lower Highs Keep Recovery Structure Fragile

The $2,360–$2,440 range overlaps the lower edge of a broader ascending channel. A separate four-hour chart places descending resistance near $2,450–$2,470.

Ether (ETH) is testing a key support area between $2,360 and $2,440, where repeated rebounds have yet to turn a pattern of lower highs, leaving the broader recovery structure vulnerable to a daily close below the range.

The daily chart places the range near the lower edge of a broader ascending channel. That channel frames the larger price structure, while a descending channel on the four-hour chart captures the more recent sequence of trading. The two patterns describe different time frames: the shorter-term decline sits within the wider ascending structure.

Several reactions from the $2,360–$2,440 band show buying interest in that area, but the rebounds have not produced a sustained recovery. Each lower high marks a rally that stalls below the previous peak. The pattern suggests sellers have continued to limit advances, even as buyers have defended the range.

A decisive daily close below $2,360 and the ascending channel’s lower boundary would weaken the broader structure. The chart levels then become progressively lower: a break below $2,360 could expose recent wick lows around $2,320, followed by the $2,200–$2,270 demand area. The lower area also sits near the descending channel’s lower boundary, adding another technical marker to watch if the decline extends.

At the range’s upper boundary, $2,440 is the level ETH needs to reclaim. The four-hour chart’s descending resistance approaches $2,450–$2,470, making that trendline a nearby hurdle after the range boundary. Above those levels, the charts mark resistance at $2,500–$2,560. A sustained move above the range and the descending trendline would interrupt the immediate downward pattern, though the levels alone do not establish that such a move will occur.

A one-month liquidation heatmap shows estimated exposure concentrated around $2,150–$2,200. Liquidation exposure refers to positions that may be forcibly closed if prices reach certain levels. If ETH falls toward that band, forced selling could add pressure; the concentration is not proof that selling will occur. It does not guarantee support or make a move to the cluster inevitable.

The technical picture therefore hinges on whether ETH can hold the $2,360 area and reclaim the upper edge of the range.
