U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs Record Nearly $910 Million in Two-Week Net Outflows
October’s balance turned to about $615 million in net outflows after opening with $293 million in inflows. Bitcoin traded near $81,590 Friday, below the estimated average ETF investor purchase price of about $82,300.

U.S. spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded nearly $910 million in net outflows over two weeks, pushing October’s cumulative flow balance into negative territory despite an early monthly gain.
Combined withdrawals were about $909.7 million: $681.1 million in the previous week and $228.6 million in the latest week. October had started with $293 million in net inflows before its balance turned to about $615 million in net outflows. The reversal followed a $729 million withdrawal stretch across two sessions earlier in October.
Flows varied during the latest week. The funds took in $175.7 million Tuesday and $5.1 million Thursday, while $261.4 million left Wednesday.
Bitcoin traded near $81,590 Friday, below the estimated average ETF investor purchase price of about $82,300. U.S. inflation was 3.7% year over year in September, above the 3.6% expected, renewing concerns about interest rates. Higher bond yields can make traditional investments more attractive relative to Bitcoin.
Since their launch in January 2024, U.S. Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated about $57.3 billion in net inflows and nearly $104 billion in assets.
