Bitcoin Long Liquidations Reach $20.16 Million in One Hour
Total liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX reached $20.38 million as Bitcoin fell 0.36%.

Bitcoin (BTC) long liquidations totaled $20.16 million in the hour through 4:20 p.m. ET Oct. 18 (20:20 UTC), as its price fell 0.36%.
Total liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX reached $20.38 million during the hour. Long positions accounted for $20.16 million of that sum, while short positions accounted for $220,000. The tally was compiled from public liquidation data on those exchanges and represents their combined figures, not a marketwide total.
BTC traded at $81,146 at the start of the period and $80,854 at the end, a $292 decline. The price move and liquidation count cover the same one-hour window ending at the stated timestamp. The figures show that long positions made up almost all of the reported liquidations in the three-exchange sample.
Bitcoin is the largest crypto asset by market capitalization. That places the reported liquidations in the market's largest asset, while the exchange-based total remains narrower than a full-market measure.
