Cardano (ADA) closed at $0.220985 on Oct. 18 in UTC-dated daily data, down 12.3% from its Oct. 11 UTC close of $0.252036. A futures-market snapshot at 1:47:53 a.m. ET (05:47:53 UTC) Oct. 19 showed open interest of $460.66 million.

Open interest counts futures positions that remain open and unsettled. The measure does not identify whether positions belong to retail or institutional traders, and its dollar value can also change with ADA’s price. The snapshot alone does not establish that retail traders are exiting.

ADA’s Oct. 18 close was below its 50-day exponential moving average near $0.2290 and its 200-day average near $0.2395. A former trendline support level was around $0.2321.

The $0.1894 chart level matches the Aug. 30 low and is 14.3% below the Oct. 18 close. It is below the $0.1954 level in the Oct. 17 downside scenario, which was conditioned on a daily close below $0.2132. ADA’s Oct. 18 close remained above that threshold.
