Worldcoin (WLD) fell below $0.50 Sunday after a weekend rebound faded, with open interest down 5.1% over 24 hours and the funding rate turning negative.

WLD climbed to $0.547 Saturday, Oct. 17, then slipped to $0.478 Sunday, Oct. 18. The move came alongside a 2.4% decline in the token and a 5.1% decrease in open interest over 24 hours. The four-hour rally that took WLD to $0.5701 preceded the weekend move.

Spot cumulative volume delta (CVD), a measure of net buying and selling on spot markets, had trended lower over the prior week. The funding rate turned negative over 24 hours, indicating that short positions were favored during that period.

A volume profile covering WLD’s range from its $0.227 annual low to its $0.727 peak places the Point of Control at $0.50. The profile’s value area runs from $0.358 to $0.577. WLD has slipped below the $0.50 control level, which had been a focus since late September.

Price wicks have entered the $0.46-$0.47 zone and bounced slightly. The four-hour chart marks $0.466 as a key level, with $0.40 and $0.358 as lower reference points and $0.56 as overhead supply. October trading has formed lower highs and equal lows; the accumulation/distribution indicator has been flat, while the four-hour relative strength index has stayed near neutral.
