Surplus Intelligence, an AI inference marketplace on Base, briefly reached a record $18.21 million market capitalization early Monday, as its value climbed more than 61% over 24 hours.

By 3:57 a.m. ET (07:57 UTC) on Oct. 19, the market capitalization had briefly reached $18.21 million. It was then listed at $18.17 million.

The project’s marketplace focuses on AI inference, or processing that allows AI models to produce results. Surplus Intelligence aims to turn unused computing resources into revenue.
