Bitcoin (BTC) was priced at $82,546 in an Oct. 19 snapshot that showed Coinbase’s spot market with $1.9011 million more sell orders than buy orders. Three other named markets also had more sell orders than buys.

Coinbase’s spot order book listed $24.7714 million in sell orders against $22.8703 million in buy orders. The difference between the totals was $1.9011 million.

The same sell-side imbalance appeared on Binance’s spot market and the perpetual futures markets at OKX and Hyperliquid, though the gaps varied. A sudden large trade could move prices more sharply on venues with thinner order books.

The balance differed from Coinbase’s Oct. 17 order-book snapshot, when spot buy orders exceeded sells by $1.67 million.
