U.S. spot exchange-traded funds for four cryptocurrencies posted $575.91 million in net outflows in the week ended Oct. 16, with Ether (ETH) products driving most withdrawals as the overall pace slowed.

Ether funds accounted for $319.97 million, about 56% of the combined figure. Bitcoin (BTC) products recorded $228.58 million in net outflows, while Solana (SOL) and XRP funds posted $25.52 million and $1.84 million, respectively.

The four categories had recorded roughly $1.24 billion in combined net outflows the previous week. Bitcoin funds' weekly outflow narrowed from $681.10 million, and Ether funds' declined from $542.07 million. The smaller totals still left Bitcoin products with a second consecutive week of net outflows and Ether products with a third.

XRP funds moved into negative territory after being the only one of the four categories to attract money the previous week. They had recorded $11.31 million in net inflows in the week ended Oct. 9, extending a 13-week inflow run that ended with the latest result.

Cumulative net inflows to XRP funds stood at about $1.80 billion after the week ended Oct. 16. XRP fund net assets ended the week at $1.47 billion, compared with $1.57 billion in the prior week. That change reflects both fund flows and movements in XRP's market value; it does not measure redemptions alone.

Weekly net flows show the balance of money entering and leaving the tracked funds. They do not identify which investors redeemed shares or establish why the withdrawals occurred.
