Curve DAO Token (CRV) gained over 24 hours in an Oct. 19 market reading as Binance Futures open interest declined, leaving spot price and derivatives activity moving in opposite directions, with no catalyst identified.

The quoted price matched the range’s upper bound after rounding, but the reading did not establish an exact match.

The seven-day simple moving average, 20-day and 50-day averages, and 12-day and 26-day exponential averages all clustered near the quoted price.

The relative strength index (RSI) was near 50, while the moving average convergence divergence (MACD) indicator and its signal line had the same rounded value. Those readings describe the Oct. 19 setup; they do not show how momentum changed from an earlier reading.

Binance Futures open interest declined over 24 hours. The eight-hour funding rate was positive.

In that earlier move, CRV gained 5.49% while Binance Futures open interest fell 7.55%.

Curve is a decentralized exchange and automated market maker for stablecoins and other assets. CRV is its governance token.
