Small Transfers Led BNB Chain Stablecoin Counts in Q3 2026
Transfers of $10,000 or more carried 66.2% of the value moved, while the median stablecoin transfer fee was $0.0068.

Transfers below $100 made up 77.4% of BNB Chain stablecoin transactions in Q3 2026, while transfers of $10,000 or more carried 66.2% of value, showing how counts and dollar volume capture different activity.
The figures describe transfer size, not purpose. They do not establish how many low-value transfers were payments or remittances, or how much of the large-transfer value came from trading. BNB Chain’s transaction totals therefore show the scale and distribution of transfers without identifying what users did in each one.
The median network fee for a stablecoin transfer was $0.0068 during the quarter. Separate charges may apply when buying, selling or converting stablecoins.
Mercuryo’s purchase data measured a different part of activity on BNB Chain. On BNB Chain, currencies other than the U.S. dollar supplied 70% of Mercuryo’s purchase value for dollar-denominated stablecoins. The U.S. represented 9.8% of purchase value, while Asia accounted for 39.3% and Europe for 33.4%.
Apple Pay and Google Pay together handled 69.5% of Mercuryo’s stablecoin purchases and 57.7% of their value in Q3 2026. Their share of purchases was 42.3% in Q3 2025. Self-custody wallet channels received 59.5% of stablecoin purchase value; 59.8% of cash-out value originated from those channels.
The purchase and cash-out measures cover provider activity, while the transfer-size figures describe network-wide on-chain activity. The two sets of figures should be read separately.
