A Bitcoin (BTC) address holding coins received in 2013 made its first recorded spend on Oct. 18, moving 411.45 BTC valued at about $33.4 million to a new address.

The transaction was recorded at 2:23 p.m. ET (18:23 UTC). It combined two inputs into a payment of 411.44999663 BTC, with 337 satoshis paid as a network fee. The receiving address showed no outgoing transactions when checked.

The sending address received 411 BTC and 0.45 BTC in separate transactions on Sept. 11, 2013. Smaller deposits arrived in later years, but none of the address’s holdings had been spent before Oct. 18. The long period of dormancy describes its spending history, rather than a complete absence of activity.

At the transaction’s reference price of $81,097.11 per BTC, the transferred coins were worth about $33.4 million. That figure is an estimated value at the time of the move, not cash received by the holder. The payment to a single address, with no recorded onward transfer, does not establish that the Bitcoin was sold.
