Steph Is Crypto Says XRP Must Reclaim the $1.36-$1.37 Weekly EMA Ribbon
XRP was near $1.30 when the video was recorded. Steph described his medium- and long-term outlook as bullish while saying near-term timing remained uncertain.

Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto said XRP would need to climb back above a weekly EMA ribbon at $1.36 to $1.37 before he would consider the token’s trend reversed.
At the time of the video recording, XRP was near $1.30, below the ribbon as the weekly candle approached its close. Steph said a weekly close at $1.30 or $1.29 would confirm a move beneath the range, which he viewed as a negative signal in the near term.
He placed the ribbon between $1.36 and $1.37 on the weekly chart and said he would not consider the trend reversed until XRP regained that range. He also cited spot exchange-traded funds and regulatory clarity as developments he believed had not pushed XRP higher.
Steph’s historical review tracked the time between a bear-market low and the first meaningful advance above the EMA ribbon. XRP took 147 days to move above it after the 2014 low and about 56 days after the January 2017 low. The intervals were 252 days after the March 2020 low and 392 days after the June 2022 low.
In the 2020 period, XRP moved from about $0.27 to $0.77 over the 252-day span. The historical examples ranged from about two months to nearly 13 months between a low and a move above the ribbon.
For the current cycle, Steph identified July 2025 as the latest bull-run high and said the bear-market low may already have formed. At the time of recording, he estimated XRP was about 56 days past that low. He said a favorable case could put a reversal within reach soon, while a repeat of the 2022 interval could push a meaningful rally to September 2027.
Steph described his medium- and long-term outlook as bullish but said near-term timing remained uncertain. He also said XRP could form a double bottom or a higher low before a sustained move higher.
