Oppenheimer Adds Payments and Insurance Stocks to Top 50 Buy List
Visa, Mastercard, MetLife and Corpay joined the list as Oppenheimer removed major bank stocks, including Bank of America.

Oppenheimer changed the financial selections on its top 50 large-cap buy list in October, adding payment networks and an insurer while removing major banks, including Bank of America.
Visa and Mastercard joined the list alongside MetLife and Corpay. The changes shift the list’s financial-sector selections away from large banks and toward payments and insurance companies.
Oppenheimer also added International Flavors & Fragrances, Cintas, Humana and American Electric Power. Corteva, Caterpillar, Neurocrine Biosciences and American Water Works were removed.
The changes extend beyond financial stocks, with additions and removals spanning several industries. The list identifies large-cap stocks Oppenheimer has selected as buys; the October revision changes which companies appear on it.
