Brown and Russo Highlight Two Healthcare Stocks in Possible Shift From AI
Waters posted $1.645 billion in second-quarter revenue, while Thermo Fisher recorded $11.99 billion for the quarter ended June 27.

Ritholtz Wealth Management CEO Josh Brown and investment analyst Sean Russo highlighted Waters Corporation and Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as stocks that could benefit if investor interest shifts from AI-linked shares toward healthcare.
The proposed shift is their market view, not an established movement of investor funds. The two companies’ recent results provide financial context for the names they identified.
Waters recorded $1.645 billion in revenue in the second quarter of 2026. Organic revenue was $828 million, up 7% as reported and 9% in constant currency. Businesses acquired through its combination with the Biosciences & Diagnostic Solutions businesses of Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) contributed the remaining $817 million. Waters completed the combination Feb. 9.
Thermo Fisher reported $11.99 billion in revenue for the quarter ended June 27, 2026, a 10% increase from a year earlier. Adjusted earnings were $6.03 per share.
