A Shiba Inu (SHIB) burn reading reported Oct. 19 listed 1,097,233 tokens worth $5 over 24 hours, a modest dollar tally alongside differing longer-term burn rates.
Two recorded Ethereum transfers to a dead address sum to the daily token total. One moved 408,702 SHIB at 11 a.m. ET Oct. 18 (15:00 UTC). The other moved 688,531 SHIB at 9:49 p.m. ET Oct. 18 (01:49 UTC Oct. 19).
The seven-day tally was 79,848,818 SHIB, with its burn rate down 83.47%. The 30-day tally reached 749,925,084 SHIB, with its rate up 84.73%. Each rate compares a different period with an earlier one; the percentages do not show how many tokens were burned.
Circulating supply was listed at 585,485,931,224,328 SHIB. The 24-hour tally was a small fraction of that figure, and a single daily reading does not establish a lasting supply trend.
An earlier 24-hour reading listed zero SHIB burned while its seven-day and 30-day totals remained positive.
