Ether (ETH) slipped below $2,400 before trading at $2,400 at 11:46 a.m. ET (15:46 UTC) Oct. 19, putting the second-largest cryptocurrency back at the threshold.

TokenPost's own price collection recorded the $2,400 quote on Binance's spot market. The reading captures the price at that time, after ETH had moved below $2,400.

ETH was $2,410 15 minutes before the $2,400 reading. At the time of the Binance quote, it was down 0.72% from one hour earlier. Those figures describe two different comparisons: a price recorded 15 minutes earlier and a percentage change measured over an hour.
