Lombard Odier Sees Dollar at 0.85 Francs, Keeps Euro View at $1.09
The bank had published its 12-month EUR/USD assumption of $1.09 by Oct. 13. Its dollar forecast against the Swiss franc is 0.85, up from 0.83.

Lombard Odier’s dollar outlook includes a forecast of 0.85 Swiss francs per dollar, while its 12-month EUR/USD assumption of $1.09 was already public on Oct. 13.
The franc forecast rose from 0.83, which means the dollar would buy more francs at 0.85. The bank linked its firmer dollar view to stronger U.S. growth and easing market concerns about Federal Reserve independence.
Lombard Odier moved its recommended dollar allocation from underweight to neutral in June. Its view of the dollar against emerging-market currencies is neutral.
