The EURO STOXX 50 closed Oct. 19 at 6,144.81, down 0.96%, leaving the official index of selected eurozone stocks above 6,100 throughout the session.

The index reached a session low of 6,113.93 before finishing higher. Its official price-index symbol is SX5E.
