Binance’s Ether (ETH) perpetual futures book showed $4.91 million more sell orders than buy orders near the quoted price, highlighting a sell-side imbalance in a single market snapshot.

The book listed $58.86 million in sell orders and $53.95 million in buy orders while ETH was quoted at $2,396.19. It was the largest order book among the markets measured.

Sell orders also exceeded buy orders on Binance’s spot market and in the perpetual futures books on OKX and Hyperliquid. Each of those books was smaller than Binance’s Ether perpetual book. The figures cover orders near the quoted price.

An order book shows orders waiting to trade; it does not show that those orders were executed. A large trade can move prices more sharply in a thinner book, where fewer nearby orders are available. This snapshot does not show that such a trade occurred or that ETH moved because of the imbalance.

A separate Binance Ether perpetual snapshot showed $11.73 million more buy orders than sell orders. The two readings show different balances but do not establish how long either condition lasted.
