Avalanche Retreats to $9.47 Near Lower 20-Day Bollinger Band
AVAX reached $10.52 on Oct. 16 after touching $9.34 the previous day. Its latest price was about 25 cents above the lower band.

Avalanche (AVAX) traded near its lower 20-day Bollinger Band Tuesday morning, with its price at $9.47 after a brief climb above $10 last week faded.
The quote came from Binance’s AVAX/USDT spot market at 9:10 a.m. ET (13:10 UTC) on Oct. 20. AVAX had touched $9.39 earlier in the session and remained below the previous UTC day’s $9.61 close.
The retreat followed a sharp change in direction last week. After an Oct. 14 slide left AVAX at $9.95, the token fell to $9.34 on Oct. 15, then rose to $10.52 on Oct. 16. Tuesday’s $9.47 quote was below both the Oct. 16 high and the prior day’s close.
A calculation using that quote and the preceding 19 daily closes placed the lower Bollinger Band near $9.22 and the 20-day midpoint near $10.43. AVAX stood about 25 cents above the lower band. The $9.39 session low and $9.61 previous close bracketed the latest quote.
Bollinger Bands shift as prices and volatility change. Reaching the lower band alone would not establish a price floor.
