Early Binance Reading Shows Small XRP Withdrawals at 19.7% of Outflow Value
Withdrawals below 10,000 XRP made up 3% of Binance’s XRP outflow value on Sept. 30. Balances across Binance, Upbit and Bithumb also rose in the early Oct. 20 reading.

An early Oct. 20 reading showed withdrawals below 10,000 XRP taking a larger share of Binance’s XRP outflow value than on Sept. 30, even as balances rose across three exchanges.
Those smaller withdrawals represented 19.7% of Binance’s outflow value, compared with 3% on Sept. 30. The share was 6.6 times its earlier level. If confirmed, the Oct. 20 figure would be the highest since October 2024.
Withdrawals exceeding one million XRP accounted for 38.6% of Binance’s outflow value, down from 60% on Sept. 30. Transfers above 100,000 XRP still made up 65.7% of the total by value. On Coinbase, the share from withdrawals above one million XRP fell from 43% to 12.5% over the same period.
Binance, Upbit and Bithumb held a combined 10.95 billion XRP in the early Oct. 20 reading, compared with 10.83 billion on Oct. 5. Binance accounted for 60 million XRP, or half, of the indicated increase.
The withdrawal percentages measure shares of outflow value by transfer size. A separate 30-day measure of large-holder inflows to Binance reached 1.669 billion XRP; that measure tracks transfers into the exchange rather than withdrawals.
