Circle-Linked Stock Tokens Use Different Structures and Trading Terms
CRCLx is a one-for-one tracker certificate, while Robinhood uses tokenized debt securities and Ondo offers CRCLon minting and redemption 24 hours a day, five days a week.

Third-party tokens tied to Circle Internet Group shares use different legal structures and trading terms, a distinction that affects holders’ rights and how they can access the products.
Circle lists its Class A stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CRCL. The company completed its initial public offering on June 6, 2025. The tokens linked to its shares are issued by third parties, and their terms vary by product.
xStocks’ CRCLx is a tracker certificate collateralized one-for-one by the underlying equity. Holders do not receive shareholder voting rights. CRCLx can trade on secondary markets 24 hours a day, while issuance and redemption normally follow U.S. market business days.
Robinhood’s newer Stock Tokens use a different structure: tokenized debt securities that provide economic exposure to the underlying shares but no rights in the company. Ondo lists CRCLon as a tokenized stock and allows eligible users to mint and redeem it 24 hours a day, five days a week, subject to interruptions.
The products share a reference to Circle’s stock, but their rights and operating terms are not interchangeable. CRCLx’s secondary-market trading can run around the clock even though issuance and redemption normally follow a U.S. market schedule; Ondo’s stated minting and redemption window covers five days a week.
The xStocks, Ondo and Robinhood products discussed are restricted for U.S. customers. xStocks has also expanded among international crypto users, as earlier coverage of its international reach detailed.
