FalconX and GSR executed the first block trade in CME Group's new Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) futures, extending the US exchange's range of single-asset crypto derivatives.

CME's cryptocurrency futures and options have averaged more than 242,000 contracts in daily volume so far in 2026, representing $7.9 billion in notional value.

Average daily open interest has approached 240,000 contracts, representing $14.3 billion in notional value. Those figures cover CME's broader crypto derivatives business, rather than trading in the two new futures alone.

The first trade follows this year's addition of Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche and Sui futures. That expansion has generated nearly $2 billion in year-to-date notional value growth.
