ARK Invest Projects Tesla's 2031 Market Value at $17.5 Trillion
The model's base case puts Tesla shares at about $4,400 and assigns roughly 80% of projected enterprise value to robotaxis.

ARK Invest's updated Tesla model projects a $17.5 trillion market capitalization in 2031, with robotaxis accounting for most of its estimated enterprise value and making autonomous driving central to the valuation.
The base case puts Tesla shares at about $4,400 in 2031. Robotaxis make up roughly 80% of projected enterprise value. That percentage applies to enterprise value, while the $17.5 trillion figure refers to market capitalization.
A simulation using 32 independent variables puts the share value at about $3,300 in the bear case and $5,000 in the bull case. The modeled annualized share-price gains are 53% in the bear case, 62% in the base case and 66% in the bull case.
In the base case, Tesla's 2031 revenue reaches about $1.45 trillion, with earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or EBITDA, of roughly $902 billion. The model assumes cumulative AI infrastructure spending grows from about $7 billion at the end of 2025 to $225 billion by the end of 2031.
The robotics projections include about 1 million Optimus humanoid robots sold to external buyers cumulatively through 2031 and about $212 billion in Optimus revenue. Both figures are modeled outcomes rather than current sales or revenue.
The valuation depends on when autonomous driving becomes commercially viable, how robot technology develops, and assumptions about margins and capital efficiency. Actual results could differ substantially from the modeled cases.
