Crypto liquidations on Binance, Bybit and OKX reached $82.67 million in a one-hour tally dated Oct. 21, with short positions making up about 96% of the total.

The figures combine public liquidation records from Binance, Bybit and OKX for that one-hour period. The count covers 6,634 liquidations on those venues, rather than the entire crypto market. Short positions accounted for $79.31 million, while long positions accounted for $3.35 million.

Binance recorded $59.04 million in liquidations, the largest amount among the three exchanges. OKX followed with $18.34 million, and Bybit recorded $5.28 million. Each venue’s figure covers the same one-hour window used for the combined tally.

Bitcoin (BTC) led the asset breakdown with $36.47 million in liquidations, followed by Ether (ETH) at $28.31 million and Solana (SOL) at $5.30 million. Short positions are trades positioned for a price decline; long positions are positioned for a rise.
