NEAR Protocol Slides From $5.02 to $4.81 in One Hour on Binance

NEAR Protocol (NEAR) fell from $5.02 to $4.81 over one hour in Binance spot trading.

Both prices were measured on Binance’s NEAR/USDT spot market, with the $4.81 quote collected directly at the later time. NEAR was down 1.92% over the preceding 24 hours at that point. The one-hour drop came within a day that was also negative for the token.

Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, $840,000 in NEAR long positions and $130,000 in short positions were liquidated during the same hour. Those totals cover positions on three exchanges, while the spot price comparison comes from Binance alone. Long liquidations exceeded short liquidations over the measured period.

NEAR ranked 19th among crypto assets by market capitalization, with a market value of about $6.61 billion at the time of the price snapshot.
