Compound’s COMP Gains 27% as Protocol Value Locked Trails Late September
COMP also outperformed Bitcoin and Ether over seven- and 28-day periods. A separate market check recorded an 11.48% one-hour gain.

Compound’s COMP token gained 27% and outperformed Bitcoin and Ether, while the value of assets locked in the lending protocol remained below its late-September level.
COMP also outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) over seven- and 28-day periods. The comparison puts the governance token ahead of both assets across each of those time frames.
Total value locked (TVL) measures the value of assets locked in a protocol. COMP is used in Compound governance voting, so its market performance and the protocol’s TVL describe different measures.
In a separate earlier market check, COMP stood at $27 after an 11.48% one-hour rise. That check recorded a 25.23% 24-hour gain, a 24-hour low of $21.02 and trading volume of about $5.19 million.
