Solana’s tokenized-equity holder count passed 1.5 million on Oct. 20, marking another milestone for stock-linked tokens on the network after the tally reached the 1.4 million level a day earlier.

The new threshold follows the 1.4 million holder level reached on Oct. 19. Earlier coverage put the count at 1.2 million. Because those figures are rounded levels, they do not establish the exact number added between the two most recent readings.

Tokenized equities are blockchain-based representations of stocks. The holder count is a different measure from trading volume or the value of tokens outstanding. The figures describe separate aspects of Solana’s tokenized-equity market and cannot be compared directly.

Third-quarter tokenized-equity trading on Solana totaled $7.1 billion across decentralized exchanges, a quarterly record. The value of tokenized equities outstanding on the network reached $684 million in September. The trading figure covers transactions during the quarter, while the supply figure measures token value at a point in time.

Solana accounted for 14% of the $49.7 billion in tokenized-equity decentralized exchange trading recorded across networks in the third quarter.
