Bitcoin (BTC) traded at $82,992, up 1.03% over 24 hours, while U.S. stocks ended Tuesday mixed before a planned meeting between U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.06% at Tuesday’s close. The S&P 500 fell 0.29%, and the Nasdaq Composite slipped 0.02%. The Dow was the only one of the three indexes to finish higher.

U.S. and Ukrainian delegations held talks in Oslo, where Ukraine put forward new ideas for a peace plan. The U.S. side described the talks as constructive and said the delegations made progress on how to approach Russia. Witkoff also met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

President Donald Trump urged Ukraine to reach a deal to end the war. He said Moscow wanted a quick resolution to the conflict. Witkoff was expected to present a peace plan to Putin at their planned Wednesday meeting.
