A Coinbase spot Bitcoin (BTC) order-book reading showed nearby buy and sell interest almost evenly matched, even with about $5.25 million in buy orders at the $82,610 price level.

Those orders totaled about 63.51 BTC. The price level sat roughly 0.37% below the reading’s midpoint of $82,916. Across nearby levels, buy orders amounted to about $25.29 million, compared with about $25.36 million in sell orders. Using the underlying totals, the sell side led by about $62,600, or 0.12% of combined depth.

The gap was smaller than in an earlier Coinbase order-book reading, when nearby sell orders exceeded buy orders by about $4.51 million, or 10.11% of combined depth. That reading showed about $20.06 million in buy orders and $24.57 million in sell orders.

Each reading captures orders posted at a particular moment. The figures describe available buy and sell interest in the order book, rather than completed trades.
