Workday shares gained 4.5% Tuesday alongside other AI-related stocks, while U.S. indexes finished mixed at the Oct. 20 close, with the Nasdaq edging lower despite gains in the Dow and S&P 500.
The Dow rose 1.02% and the S&P 500 gained 0.28%. The Nasdaq slipped 0.02%, and the VIX fell 6.13%.
Adobe gained 3.9%, Tempus AI rose 3.75%, onsemi climbed 3.42% and NXP added 3.22%.
