A Solana wallet’s $848 purchase of Kimchi (KIMCHI) reached a combined value of about $282,000 within two hours, with most of that total still held as tokens.

The wallet spent eight Solana (SOL) tokens, worth about $848, to buy 9.91 million KIMCHI. It then sold 4.88 million KIMCHI for 1,045 SOL, valued at about $111,000 at the time of the sale.

The wallet retained 5.03 million KIMCHI valued at about $171,000. Adding that holding to the SOL received from the sale gives a total of roughly $282,000, or about 332 times the initial outlay. The $171,000 holding had not been converted into SOL and remained subject to changes in KIMCHI’s price.

Separately, Kimchi passed $40 million in market capitalization during its first hour. A later snapshot put its market cap at $38.71 million and trading volume at $23.7 million.
