Uniswap Trades Above $7 After CME Futures Debut, Still Below Sept. 22 Close
UNI last closed at $7.44, up 1.8% from the previous day. CME offers standard and Micro futures contracts tied to the token.

Uniswap (UNI) traded above $7 Wednesday morning, but its latest daily close remained 27.5% below the Sept. 22 level when CME Group announced plans for futures tied to the token.
UNI traded at $7.48 at 9:02 a.m. ET (13:02 UTC). It closed Tuesday at $7.44, up 1.8% from Monday’s $7.31 close. On Sept. 22, it closed at $10.26. In this spot-price series, each daily period ends at 8 p.m. ET (00:00 UTC the following day).
UNI closed at $6.97 on Oct. 12. During three later daily periods this month, it dipped below $7 before finishing each period above that price.
CME opened trading in UNI futures on the Oct. 19 trade date. A standard contract covers 10,000 UNI, while a Micro contract covers 1,000 UNI. The contracts settle financially and do not require delivery of the token. FalconX and GSR executed the first block trade in CME’s new Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and UNI futures.
