Up to 1.3 billion SpaceX shares become eligible for trading on Oct. 22, the company’s largest unlock since its June listing and a substantial increase in the stock that holders may sell.

The batch represents 28% of the shares subject to a 180-day lock-up. Its release is tied to the second full trading day after SpaceX’s Oct. 20 third-quarter earnings announcement. Oct. 21 is the first full session, making Oct. 22 the release date.

The scheduled batch exceeds the previous largest unlock of up to 911.5 million shares on Aug. 6. Eligibility does not mean every newly unlocked share will be sold.

SpaceX trades on Nasdaq under the symbol SPCX. The company posted third-quarter revenue of $14.6 billion, up 161% from a year earlier, and net income of $4.4 billion.

A separate lock-up milestone falls on Oct. 24, a Saturday. Up to 328.4 million additional shares are due to become eligible for trading in the next session on Oct. 26.
