U.S. Spot Ether ETFs Post $1.08 Billion October Outflow, Largest of 2026
The funds added about $26 million on Tuesday.

U.S. spot Ether (ETH) exchange-traded funds have posted $1.08 billion in net withdrawals in October through Oct. 20, their largest monthly outflow of 2026 and enough to erase September's gains.
The funds added about $26 million on Tuesday. October's withdrawals have overtaken the $832 million in net inflows recorded in September and reduced the funds' net inflows for 2026 to roughly $485 million.
U.S. spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs, meanwhile, brought in about $527 million on Monday and $23 million on Tuesday. The smaller Tuesday inflow followed Monday's jump, but Bitcoin funds were still down roughly $67 million for October after the two positive sessions.
The Ether fund withdrawals have coincided with a 9.7% decline in ETH's price this month. Fund flows measure money entering and leaving the ETFs; they are separate from changes in the asset's market price.
October is already the Ether funds' worst month for net flows since November 2025. Eight U.S. trading sessions remain before the monthly total is final.
