A four-hour chart of crypto market capitalization excluding the 10 largest assets showed $226.71 billion on Oct. 21, up from about $213 billion to $217 billion in mid-October.

The measure remained below its late-September level near $255 billion. The chart’s latest candle ranged from $225.55 billion to $226.93 billion and recorded $14.46 billion in volume.

The relative strength index (RSI) was 57.79, and the MACD histogram was positive. Those readings indicated stronger short-term momentum on the chart.
