Litecoin (LTC) rose 3.81% to $61.65 in an Oct. 21 market snapshot as Binance futures open interest fell, leaving the price below its 20-day moving average despite the gain.

LTC traded between $58.30 and $62.20 during the 24-hour period. Its snapshot price was below the 20-day simple moving average of $63.73. The listed resistance levels were $63.13 and $64.62.

Binance futures open-interest value declined 4.02% over 24 hours to about $68.2 million. Open interest tracks outstanding futures contracts. The decline alongside a higher spot price does not establish what caused the change in futures positions.

An Oct. 16 Litecoin snapshot recorded a 4.46% gain over 24 hours to $60.92. LTC was also below its 20-day moving average at that time.
